Physical Description: Jade is a stunning looking Zeltron woman, with long blue hair and blue eyes and exotic red skin. As most of her kind, she is physically very fit and flexible, even though she isn’t very tall and doesn’t look too strong.
Form of Dress: Jade usually wears the typical pilot orange jump suits that are standard to all Alliance pilots. However, when she is not flying, she likes to wear tight clothes that some would call rather provocative.
Background: When Jade Corliss was born her mother died out of complications during childbirth. As a result, she was raised by her father alone. Despite the planet being famous for its atmosphere of leisure, it maintained a considerable defense force, even though it lacked planetary shields. Jade’s father served as a mechanic for the Zeltros Defense Force, fixing ships and heavy weaponry. Since her father had little time and knew nothing about raising children, Jade grew up mostly around hangars, playing in simulators. Her family ended up being all the Zeltrons who served the military and those who worked with her father. From them she learned all there was to know about flying and mechanics on several sorts of spacecrafts.
By the time she was a teenager she was already the equivalent of a
pilot fresh out of the imperial academy and had more time on the
simulator than most others would. With no surprise to anyone, as
soon as she was old enough, she enrolled in the Zeltron Academy
herself and became top of her class in piloting as well as an avid
weapons specialist. She was immediately given a position as
instructor, which she declined as what she wanted was to see the
Galaxy. She took a position in the cre She was stationed in Yavin 4, just before the battle took place, although at the time she had been given a position as part of the engineering crew. With the deaths of many pilots, she applied for a commission in the Navy, and became a pilot. Her great pilot skills gained her several promotions throughout time. Her record caught the eye of some of the influential politicians, and Borsk Fey’lya offered her a new commission on the most famous Rebel Alliance squadron, the 504th. And even though Jade knew that squadron commanders didn’t like politicians bundling into their affairs to promote their agendas, this was a chance she could not toss away, and thus she became second in command to the squadron. Personality: Jade is a fun person, who is rarely angry or sad. Perhaps due to her nature as Zeltron, she always tries for those around her to also have a good time, even though she can get dead serious when the situation requires it. She is a good friend and listener, but she also expects others to give their best.
Vehicle of Choice: She will fly just about any ship, but she prefers the X-Wing.
Skills & Talents: Jade is a very talented pilot, skilled in dogfight tactics. She is also a talented mechanic known to make wonders with a hidrospanner, and quite knowledgeable about weapon systems. Being a Zeltron, she is able to produce pheromones, which further enhance her attractiveness, as well as project emotions onto others, creating a type of control. She is also empathic, meaning she can feel the emotions of others.
Personal Items: The only personal item she keeps with her at all times is a flatpix with a holographic image of her parents.
